General Questions

• 1. Does this tool have proven success for Councils?

  Yes.  Circle Ten Council was the first council to use this platform.  You can view a full interview with their team on the impact it made on helping them engage with staff and volunteers here. 
  
  

  2. How quickly can we get our Council IHUBApp up?

  Under a week if your team is ready to dedicate the time to filling out our survey and having meetings.  The biggest challenge is not setting up the IHUBApp but figuring out the top three communication challenges you wish to solve. Every council is different and we have some experience with what works.  If your team is eager and willing, we can make this happen.
  
  

  3. Can we pay month-to-month with no term contract?

  Yes.  The monthly payment is higher and you will need to pay the one-time setup fee in advance of $3,000 (Reg. Price $5,000)
  
  

• 4. Does the IHUBApp replace my other engagement tools?

  Not necessarily. The IHUBApp was designed to be a hub that leverages and integrates with the platforms and tools that you use while providing you with the features that you also love in native apps (such as having content available when offline).  We integrate with tools like Salesforce and have a long list of integration plans for other tools. At InspireHUB (like most organizations) we use multiple platforms and technologies to get our work done.  We use our own IHUBApp in specific ways that work for the InspireHUB tribe but it is not the only tool we use.
  
  

• 5. Can I integrate and link with other technologies through the IHUBApp?

  Yes. We are already working on setting up the ability to integrate with other popular platforms.  The IHUBApp is web-based so if you have the know how and ability to integrate or link out to other technologies you are licensing you are free to do so. We currently offer integrations with Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Google+, Stripe, Paypal, and Salesforce with plans to add many more. When you use other platforms you will be required to abide by their terms of use.

Using the IHUBApp for Fundraising Questions

• 1. Do I need to pay a transaction rate on tickets?

  No.  The use of our event management system and the ability to sell your tickets is part of your ongoing license fee. Sell as many tickets as you wish. We are not like those other guys who take a percentage of every sale. ;-)

• 2. Do you collect a percentage on funds that are put through the IHUBApp?

  No.  We don’t collect any fees.  There ARE merchant fees charged based on the online payment processors you decide to go with (Stripe or Paypal) that are part of using their services.
  
  

• 3. Do I have to pay merchant fees on transactions or funds collected through the IHUBApp?

• Yes, if you choose to use the corporate giving or event management tool that comes standard with the IHUBApp. Merchant fees are set by those payment providers for use of their payment services. If you don’t have a merchant account,  InspireHUB offers IHUBPay (powered by Stripe) that integrates with our platform and standard Stripe merchant fees are associated with this service.  Be sure to ask us about the ability to integrate with your existing event and corporate giving solution.

  4. Can I use another event or giving tool other than what the IHUBApp offers?

  Yes. We realize there are many other CRM and event tools in the marketplace.  If you are interested in customizing your IHUBApp to launch to these other web-based tools we can arrange for this.  Those tools will not necessarily be using Progressive Web App Technology and so may not be available when your internet is offline but if this is a business need we can work with you.
