IHUBApp AI Assistant (MCP) Terms
IHUBApp AI Assistant (MCP) Terms
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. These terms govern the use of AI assistants with your IHUBApp Hub.
The IHUBApp AI Assistant (MCP) Terms form part of the IHUBApp Terms of Service. They work together with the following documents:
Understanding These Terms in Plain Language
IHUBApp lets the members of your Hub use an AI assistant to read and work with your Hub on their behalf. This is called AI assistant access. It works through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that lets AI assistants connect securely to other services. During the Beta, the only AI assistant you can connect is Claude, provided by Anthropic.
You contract for AI assistant access with the same InspireHUB entity, under the same governing law, as your Terms of Service. This first part explains how AI assistant access works and what we expect of you. Part Two contains the full legal terms. This guide covers:
- Our commitment to ethical AI
- You decide how AI is used in your Hub
- Who can use AI assistant access
- What Claude can do in your Hub
- Updating your homepage with Claude
- Using AI at your own risk
- Designing for accessibility and legal compliance, including privacy notices and cookie consent
- Where your data goes
- What happens if AI assistant access is disabled or removed
Our Commitment to Ethical AI
IHUBApp is owned by Gloo, and InspireHUB shares Gloo's commitment to the responsible and ethical use of AI. We designed AI assistant access to keep people in charge: you decide whether AI is used in your Hub, AI can only do what a member is already allowed to do, and a person remains accountable for everything published. For background on how Gloo approaches security and AI governance across its products, see the Gloo Security Statement. InspireHUB's own security commitments for IHUBApp are set out in our Terms of Service.
You Decide How AI Is Used in Your Hub
AI assistant access remains disabled until you enable it. Once enabled, each member chooses whether to connect their own AI assistant, and either of you can disconnect at any time. InspireHUB does not use the content in your Hub to train AI models without your separate consent.
Who Can Use AI Assistant Access
AI assistant access is available to Hubs on paid plans that include it, and to Hubs we choose to enable for a limited trial. We will let you know before a trial ends. At the end of a trial, access ends unless the Hub upgrades to a plan that includes it.
The Hub Owner decides whether to enable it for everyone in the Hub. When you enable it, you accept these terms on behalf of your organisation and confirm that you have told your members about it.
What Claude Can Do in Your Hub
Once AI assistant access is enabled, each member can connect Claude to their own account. To do this, a member needs their own Claude account with Anthropic. Anthropic may apply different terms to personal and business accounts, so check which terms apply to the accounts your members use.
Claude can do only what that member can do. The permissions you give each member inside your Hub are the same permissions available through the connector. If a member can publish posts, Claude can publish posts for them. If a member can only comment, Claude can only comment. If a member can see a private channel, Claude can see it too. Before Claude can create, edit or delete content, a Hub administrator must approve those permissions.
Each connection lasts up to 180 days. Members can disconnect at any time, and administrators can disconnect any member.
Updating Your Homepage with Claude
The Hub Owner can let Claude update the homepage, the main landing page that welcomes people into your Hub, including its content and design. You choose how to test changes before the public sees them:
- Preview in Claude. Ask Claude to show you what the change will look like before it is applied.
- Test in a private channel. Ask Claude to publish the page, post or other work to a private channel first, review it there, and then publish it publicly.
Code placed on your homepage is not checked by InspireHUB and runs for every visitor, so please review every change carefully.
Hub settings, styling and other configuration can be changed only directly inside your Hub. We keep it this way to provide a level of safety and protection for your Hub and its visitors.
Using AI at Your Own Risk
AI assistants are provided by their AI providers, not by InspireHUB, and you use them at your own risk. We put permissions, limits and other controls in place, but those controls cannot guarantee what an AI will do. An AI may produce something unexpected, or find a way around a control. Except where the law does not allow it, InspireHUB is not liable when that happens. Part Two explains the details.
You own what you build with an AI assistant, and you are responsible for it. We may provide agent tools and skills to help you, but they do not replace human judgement. A person in your organisation must review what Claude creates and be accountable for everything posted to your Hub, including anything an automated agent publishes. Everything created with AI must follow our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy and IHUBApp Privacy Notice.
Designing for Accessibility and Legal Compliance
When you use an AI assistant to build or change your Hub, you are responsible for determining and complying with the accessibility, privacy, consumer protection, electronic communications and other laws that apply to your Hub. Requirements depend on your country, your type of organisation and your audience. We recommend designing to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the current international accessibility guideline. InspireHUB may publish general guidance to help you, but it is for information only and is not legal advice.
Privacy notices and cookie consent are your responsibility. If you use an AI assistant to build pages or add features to your Hub, such as forms, analytics, tracking pixels, embedded videos or other third-party tools, you are responsible for complying with the privacy laws that apply to them. That may mean publishing your own privacy notice, telling visitors what you collect and why, and showing a cookie consent banner where the law requires one. InspireHUB does not provide privacy notices, cookie banners or consent management tools for your Hub or for anything you add to it. You can ask your AI assistant to help you build these, or work with a qualified vendor, such as a consent management provider, to implement them.
Prompt for your Hub and your region. Tell Claude what you are building, who it is for and where you operate. For example, ask Claude to design to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, add alt text to images, use sufficient colour contrast, and follow the privacy and consumer laws of your country. InspireHUB may provide agents, skills and recommendations to help, but you are responsible for what you build.
Where Your Data Goes
What Claude reads in your Hub is sent to Anthropic and handled under Anthropic's terms and policies. It may be processed outside the country where your Hub is hosted, including in the United States.
InspireHUB commits not to train AI on the content you put in your Hub without your separate consent. That commitment covers InspireHUB only. When you use an AI tool, that tool's own rules apply, including whatever Anthropic decides to do with the content it receives, such as whether it is used to train Anthropic's models. InspireHUB does not control Anthropic. You are responsible for reviewing and following the AI tool's rules and for choosing your settings with it.
Because members' AI assistants can read content in your Hub, including in private channels they can see, you are responsible for telling your members and updating your own privacy notice.
Take extra care with sensitive information. IHUBApp lets you create private and confidential spaces where members communicate with one another. In the course of those conversations, members may choose to share sensitive information, such as details about their health, finances, children, beliefs or personal circumstances. InspireHUB does not monitor members' communications and does not know what they share. Members are responsible for what they choose to share, and you are responsible for your Hub and how it is used, under our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
Before you enable AI assistant access, consider this carefully. If a member can see sensitive information that another member has shared, their AI assistant can read it and send it to the AI provider. Review which channels may contain sensitive information and who can see them, and tell your members how AI assistants may interact with that content. AI assistant access must not be used with health information protected by law, such as under HIPAA in the United States. If your Hub includes young people, only members old enough to use the AI provider's service may connect an AI assistant, and AI assistant access must not be enabled for Hubs directed to children under 13.
If AI Assistant Access Is Disabled or Removed
Disabling or removing AI assistant access affects only the AI assistant. It does not affect anyone's access to your Hub. Your members can still sign in, read, like, comment and post directly in your Hub, just as they always have. What stops is their ability to do that work through an AI assistant such as Claude.
If you disable AI assistant access, every member's AI assistant is disconnected from your Hub immediately. Members can connect their AI assistant again only after you re-enable it.
If InspireHUB removes AI assistant access from your Hub, it is removed for everyone in your Hub. Every member's AI assistant is disconnected completely, and any workflow or automated agent that relies on it will stop. Your Hub and your members' direct access to it are not affected.
IHUBApp AI Assistant (MCP) Terms
These terms are between you (the "Client") and us ("InspireHUB") and set out the terms for using AI assistant access with your Hub. They form part of, and are in addition to, the Terms of Service (the "Terms"). From time to time, we may update these terms. When we do, the Hub Owner will receive notice by email.
If you are accepting these terms on behalf of a company or other entity, you are representing that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.
1.0 Definitions
Capitalised terms not defined below have the meaning given in the Terms.
means any artificial intelligence model, assistant, agent or other autonomous or semi-autonomous software that connects to, invokes or interacts with the MCP Server.
means the third party that operates an AI Assistant, other than InspireHUB.
means any application, AI Assistant, script, service or integration that accesses a Hub through the MCP Server or through IHUBApp's authorisation service for that purpose.
has the meaning given in Section 2.10(b).
means an authorisation granted by a Member, through IHUBApp's consent screen, that allows a Connected Client to access a Hub on that Member's behalf.
means a Hub's main landing page that welcomes people into the Hub, including its content and design, which can contain HTML, scripts and embedded content.

means a Registered User of a Hub, as defined in the Terms.
means an AI Assistant that InspireHUB has approved to connect to the MCP Server, as described in Section 2.3.
means any action through the MCP Server that creates, edits, deletes, uploads or otherwise changes Client Data.
2.0 Using AI Assistant Access
2.1 Relationship to Other Documents
a. These terms are in addition to the Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Data Processing Agreement and the End-User License Agreement. Where a matter is addressed in those documents and not here, those documents govern.
b. The MCP Server is part of the Subscription Service. Nothing in these terms expands InspireHUB's obligations under the Terms.
c. The MCP Server is part of the IHUBApp Platform, which is proprietary technology owned by Gloo, LLC and its affiliates and licensed to InspireHUB. Section 2.12 of the Terms applies to the MCP Server. These terms grant access to the MCP Server only and do not grant any other right in it.
d. Members use AI assistant access under the End-User License Agreement. Where these terms describe what a Member must or must not do, the Client must ensure that its Members comply, and the Client is responsible for any failure to do so.
e. MCP Access by a Supported AI Assistant in accordance with these terms is an authorised use of the Subscription Service. It is not a breach of the restrictions on automated systems and on access other than through InspireHUB's interface in Section 2.21(b)(ii) of the Terms.
2.2 Availability and Enablement
a. Beta. AI assistant access is a Beta feature. It may change substantially or be discontinued, and Section 2.20 (Access and Service Level Terms) of the Terms does not apply to it.
b. Eligible Hubs. AI assistant access is available only to Hubs on a paid plan that includes it, and to Hubs that InspireHUB chooses to enable for a trial under Section 2.2(c).
c. Trials. InspireHUB may, at its discretion, enable AI assistant access for a Hub for a limited trial period, which InspireHUB will state when it enables the trial. InspireHUB will notify the Hub Owner before the trial period ends. At the end of the trial period, AI assistant access and all Connections on that Hub end unless the Hub has moved to a plan that includes AI assistant access. InspireHUB may end a trial early where necessary for security, to prevent abuse, or to comply with law.
d. Disabled by Default. AI assistant access is disabled on every Hub. InspireHUB must first make it available to the Hub. The Hub Owner then decides whether to enable it for everyone in the Hub. An administrator may enable it only where the Hub Owner has given that administrator permission to manage third-party app access.
e. Acceptance. Before AI assistant access can be enabled, the person enabling it must accept these terms and confirm that the Hub's Members have been told about AI assistant access. By doing so, that person accepts these terms on behalf of the Client and represents that they have authority to bind the Client. InspireHUB records each acceptance, including the date, time, account, IP address, device information and the version of these terms accepted.
f. Change of Plan, Suspension and Cancellation. If a Hub moves to a plan that does not include AI assistant access, all Connections on that Hub end. If a Hub is suspended or cancelled, InspireHUB may end all Connections on that Hub.
2.3 Supported AI Assistants
a. Approved Assistants Only. InspireHUB decides which AI Assistants may connect to the MCP Server. During the Beta, the only Supported AI Assistant is Claude, provided by Anthropic.
b. Your Relationship with the AI Provider. To use a Supported AI Assistant, a Member needs their own account with its AI Provider. The AI Provider's terms and privacy policy govern that account and the AI Provider's handling of data. For Claude, see Anthropic's legal terms and policies. AI Providers may apply different terms to personal and business accounts, including on data use and training, and the Client is responsible for considering which accounts its Members use. InspireHUB is not a party to that relationship.
c. Changes. InspireHUB may add or remove Supported AI Assistants at any time. Adding a Supported AI Assistant is a material amendment under Section 3.4(b), because it allows Hub content to be sent to a new AI Provider. Removing one takes effect when InspireHUB updates these terms.
2.4 Connections and Permissions
a. Connecting Claude. Once the Hub Owner has enabled AI assistant access, any Member of the Hub may connect Claude to their own account by approving the connection on IHUBApp's consent screen. That approval creates a Connection.
b. Claude Can Do Only What the Member Can Do. Claude works with the permissions of the Member who connected it, and nothing more. The permissions the Hub Owner gives each Member inside the Hub are the same permissions available through the connector. For example:
i. if a Member can publish posts, Claude can publish posts for them;
ii. if a Member can only comment, Claude can only comment; and
iii. if a Member can see a private channel, Claude can see it too.
To change what Claude can do for a Member, change that Member's permissions in the Hub.
c. Administrator Approval for Changes. Permissions that allow a Connected Client to perform Write Actions require approval by a Hub administrator with permission to manage third-party app access before the Connection can use them.
d. Duration. Each Connection expires no later than one hundred and eighty (180) days after it is granted, unless it is revoked earlier. The Member must then reconnect.
e. Revocation. A Member may revoke their own Connection at any time from their account security settings. A Hub administrator with permission to manage third-party app access may view and revoke any Connection on the Hub, or all of them.
f. Disabling Access. Disabling AI assistant access immediately and permanently ends every Connection on the Hub. Ended Connections cannot be restored. Each Member must create a new Connection if access is enabled again. Disabling AI assistant access ends access through Connected Clients only. It does not affect any Member's access to the Hub or their ability to use the Hub directly.
g. Keeping Connections Secure. The Client must ensure that each Member keeps their AI Provider account and their Connection secure and does not share either with anyone else. The Client is responsible for all activity under any Connection on its Hubs, and must revoke a Connection promptly if it may have been compromised.
h. Age Requirements. A Member may create a Connection only if they meet the minimum age set by the AI Provider for its service and are old enough to agree to the AI Provider's terms where they live. The Client is responsible for taking reasonable steps to ensure that Members who do not meet those requirements do not create Connections. InspireHUB does not independently verify a Member's eligibility to use a third-party AI Provider, except where required by applicable law.
2.5 Write Actions, the Homepage and Hub Settings
a. Write Actions. Depending on the Member's role and the permissions approved under Section 2.4(c), a Connected Client may create posts, comments and channels, upload media, edit and delete content (including content created by others, where the Member's role permits), and update the Member's own profile. InspireHUB decides which Write Actions are available and may add, change or remove them at any time.
b. The Homepage. The Hub Owner can let Claude update the Hub's Homepage, including its content and design. No other Member, including other administrators, can do so through the MCP Server.
i. Preview before you publish. The Hub Owner chooses how to test changes before the public sees them. The Hub Owner may ask Claude to show a preview of the change before it is applied, or ask Claude to publish the page, post or other work to a private channel first, review it there, and then publish it publicly.
ii. Code on the Homepage is not checked. HTML, scripts and embedded content placed on the Homepage are not reviewed, checked or filtered by InspireHUB. They appear to every visitor and run in each visitor's browser, so harmful or manipulated code can affect everyone who visits, including administrators. The Hub Owner is solely responsible for everything placed on the Homepage, whether or not it was previewed or tested first.
c. InspireHUB Controls. InspireHUB may disable Write Actions, or any MCP tool, for any Hub at any time, including to protect a Hub that is being misused. These controls are operated by InspireHUB and are not Client settings.
d. Settings and Configuration Are Managed Inside the Hub. Hub settings, styling, header and footer code and other configuration can be changed only directly inside the Hub, by people with the right permissions. They cannot be changed through the MCP Server. InspireHUB applies this limit to provide a level of safety and protection for Hubs and their visitors. The Client must not use an AI Assistant, or code written by an AI Assistant (including scripts placed on the Homepage or in posts), to change settings or configuration indirectly or otherwise work around this limit. Any change made that way is the Client's sole responsibility and a breach of these terms, and InspireHUB may reverse it, remove the code, or suspend AI assistant access.
e. InspireHUB Support Tools. Where the Client authorises Delegated Support Access under Section 3.1(c) of the Terms, InspireHUB personnel may use InspireHUB's internal AI-assisted tools to make the changes the Client has requested. Those changes are logged, are made by InspireHUB rather than by a Connected Client of the Client, and are governed by the Terms.
f. Role Management. The Client is solely responsible for deciding which Members hold roles that permit Write Actions, and who holds the Hub Owner role.
2.6 Responsibility and Accountability
a. Actions Are Attributed to the Account Holder. Every action taken through a Connection is treated as an action of the Member who created it, whether or not that action was intended, reviewed or initiated by a person, and whether it resulted from an instruction, an error, prompt injection, malicious content or a compromised Connected Client.
b. Client Responsibility. As between the Client and InspireHUB, the Client is responsible for all MCP Access on its Hubs and for all resulting actions, content, changes and outcomes, including Connections created by its Members, which the Client permitted by enabling AI assistant access.
c. Supervision. The Client is responsible for supervising the use of Connected Clients on its Hubs, including the roles and permissions of the Members who connect them and the Write Action permissions its administrators approve.
d. Human Review and Accountability. InspireHUB may provide agent tools, skills and templates to help Members work with AI Assistants. These tools assist; they do not replace human judgement. AI Assistants can be inaccurate, incomplete or manipulated, and InspireHUB does not review, verify or approve anything a Connected Client does. The Client must ensure that:
i. a person reviews and approves outputs before they are relied on or published;
ii. where the Client uses an automated agent that publishes to its Hub without approval of each item, a person reviews all content the agent publishes and confirms that it complies with the Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy; and
iii. a person within the Client's organisation is accountable for everything posted to its Hub through MCP Access.
The Client agrees to take that accountability.
e. AI-Generated Content. Content created through the MCP Server is Client Data and is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy, including Section 2.6 (AI-Generated and Synthetic Media).
f. Use at Your Own Risk. The Client and each Member use AI Assistants at their own risk. AI Assistants are provided by their AI Providers, such as Anthropic for Claude, not by InspireHUB. The Client accepts the risks of engaging with an AI Assistant through its AI Provider, including inaccurate, unexpected or harmful outputs and actions.
g. Controls Are Not a Guarantee. InspireHUB applies permissions, limits and other controls to MCP Access, but the availability of AI assistant access does not mean those controls will prevent every unintended or harmful action. An AI Assistant, or content or code it creates, may behave in ways InspireHUB did not anticipate, including working around a control. InspireHUB is not liable for any such action, as set out in Section 3.1(b).
h. Compliance. Using an AI Assistant with a Hub requires compliance with the Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy and the IHUBApp Privacy Notice, and with applicable privacy law. The Client and its Members must not use an AI Assistant to breach any of them, or to do anything through an AI Assistant that they could not do directly.
i. Ownership of What You Build. As between the Client and InspireHUB, the Client owns, and is solely responsible for, everything it or its Members create, change or publish using an AI Assistant, including content, pages, designs and code. InspireHUB does not review, approve or take responsibility for any of it. The Client is responsible for ensuring that anything created with an AI Assistant does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
j. Legal Compliance, Including Accessibility. The Client is responsible for determining and complying with the accessibility, privacy, consumer protection, electronic communications and other laws applicable to its Hub and its use of AI assistant access, including anything the Client or its Members build or change in a Hub using an AI Assistant. InspireHUB recommends designing to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This recommendation is not a representation that any particular standard applies to the Client or that meeting it satisfies applicable law. Any guidance InspireHUB publishes about these laws is provided for information only, may change, is not exhaustive and is not legal advice.
k. Prompting for Your Hub and Region. The Client agrees, and must ensure its Members agree, to instruct AI Assistants appropriately for the purpose and audience of what they are building in the Hub and for the region and legal requirements that apply to it, including accessibility, privacy, consumer protection and marketing laws.
l. Agents and Recommendations. InspireHUB may provide agents, skills, templates, prompts and recommendations to help Clients build accessible and compliant Hubs. These are provided for assistance only. They do not guarantee that anything built with them is accessible or compliant, and they do not transfer any responsibility to InspireHUB. The Client remains solely responsible for what it builds.
m. Privacy Disclosures and Cookie Consent. Where the Client or its Members use an AI Assistant to build or change pages, forms or features in a Hub, or to add third-party scripts, cookies, tracking technologies, analytics or embedded services, the Client is solely responsible for complying with applicable privacy and electronic communications laws for them. This includes publishing appropriate privacy notices and collection notices, obtaining any consent the law requires before cookies or tracking technologies are used, and honouring opt-out and consent choices. InspireHUB does not provide privacy notices, cookie consent banners or consent management tools for a Client's Hub or for anything the Client adds to it. The Client must implement these itself, with the help of its AI Assistant or a qualified vendor. InspireHUB's own processing of personal information is described in the IHUBApp Privacy Notice.
2.7 AI Providers
a. Not InspireHUB's Sub-processors. AI Providers are chosen and used by Members under their own accounts. AI Providers are not InspireHUB sub-processors, and InspireHUB has no contract with them in respect of MCP Access.
b. Disclosure at the Member's Direction. Data retrieved through a Connection is retrieved at the direction of the Member who created that Connection and pursuant to the Client's authorisation of MCP Access. Once retrieved by the Connected Client, that data is outside IHUBApp and outside InspireHUB's control.
c. Data Location. Data retrieved through a Connection leaves the IHUBApp regional instance on which the Hub is hosted and may be processed by the AI Provider in another country, including the United States. Statements in the Terms about where data is stored apply only to data held within IHUBApp.
d. AI Training. InspireHUB commits not to use Client Data or personal information to train AI models without separate consent. That commitment applies to InspireHUB only and does not bind any AI Provider. When a Member uses an AI Assistant, the AI Provider's own terms and policies apply, including the AI Provider's decisions about whether data it receives is used to train its models. The Client and its Members are responsible for reviewing and complying with those terms and policies and for choosing their settings with the AI Provider.
e. No Endorsement. Approval of a Supported AI Assistant means only that it may connect to the MCP Server. It is not an endorsement of the AI Provider's practices.
2.8 Hub Owner Privacy Obligations
a. Controller Decision. Enabling AI assistant access is a decision of the Client as data controller of personal information in its Hub, consistent with Section 3.1(e) of the Terms. The Client is responsible for determining that it has a lawful basis for allowing Members to disclose Hub content and personal information to AI Providers. By enabling AI assistant access, the Client instructs and authorises InspireHUB to make Hub content available through MCP Access in accordance with the permissions assigned by the Client to its Members. The Client represents that it has provided all notices, obtained all consents and established any other lawful basis required to permit its Members to use AI assistant access in this manner.
b. Notice to Members. Before enabling AI assistant access, the Client must inform its Members that members may connect AI Assistants able to read content they can access, including in private channels, and that this content, including any Sensitive Information, may be sent to the AI Provider.
c. Privacy Notices. The Client is responsible for updating its own privacy notice and for meeting any notice, consent or transparency obligations under applicable law, including PIPEDA and applicable provincial law, the Australian Privacy Principles, and applicable United States state privacy laws.
d. Rights Requests. Requests from individuals about data held by an AI Provider must be directed to that AI Provider or to the Member who created the Connection. Requests about data held in IHUBApp follow Section 3.1(g) of the Terms and the Data Processing Agreement.
e. Sensitive Information. In the course of communicating with one another, including in private channels and communities, Members may share Sensitive Information as defined in the Terms, such as information about health, finances, religious or other beliefs, or other personal circumstances. InspireHUB does not monitor Member communications or review Hub content, and does not know whether a Hub contains Sensitive Information. Each Member is responsible for the information they choose to share, and the Client is solely responsible for its Hub, how it is used and the information it contains. Any Member's AI Assistant can read Sensitive Information that the Member can see. Before enabling AI assistant access, the Client must consider whether its Hub may contain Sensitive Information, consider which Members can see it, and address it in the notice required by Section 2.8(b). Section 2.21(b)(iii) of the Terms applies to Sensitive Information processed through MCP Access.
f. Children. Where a Hub includes Members under the age of eighteen (18), or content about children, the Client must consider that content before enabling AI assistant access and address it in the notice required by Section 2.8(b). The Client must not enable AI assistant access for a Hub that is directed to children under thirteen (13), or under the age of digital consent where they live, and must comply with applicable children's privacy laws, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act in the United States.
2.9 Prohibited Uses
In addition to the Acceptable Use Policy, the Client must not, and must ensure that no Member or Connected Client will:
a. connect, or attempt to connect, any AI Assistant or other client that is not a Supported AI Assistant, or misrepresent the identity of a Connected Client;
b. use MCP Access to cache, index, export or extract Client Data or Hub content in bulk, including to build datasets or member lists;
c. use data obtained through MCP Access to train, fine-tune or evaluate any AI model;
d. use MCP Access to make, or to substantially assist in making, decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals, including decisions about employment, housing, credit, insurance, education, healthcare or access to essential services;
e. exceed or circumvent rate limits, quotas, access controls, consent screens or other technical limits, or impose a disproportionate load on the MCP Server;
f. use MCP Access to send spam, mass-produce content, manipulate engagement, or create or alter content for phishing, malware distribution or deception;
g. use MCP Access to impersonate another person, or to act for a Member without that Member's authorisation;
h. resell, sublicense or offer MCP Access to third parties as a service, or route it through an intermediary platform, without InspireHUB's prior written consent;
i. use MCP Access to build or improve a product that competes with IHUBApp, or to reverse engineer the MCP Server;
j. probe, scan or test the MCP Server for vulnerabilities, except through a disclosure programme InspireHUB has authorised in writing;
k. use an AI Assistant, or code it writes, to change Hub settings or configuration outside the Hub's own settings, or to work around any limit in Section 2.5; or
l. use MCP Access to process Protected Health Information as defined under the HIPAA Privacy Rule (45 C.F.R. § 160.103), or any other information that applicable law requires to be handled under specific safeguards that IHUBApp is not designed to meet.
2.10 Security, Records and Incidents
a. InspireHUB's Measures. InspireHUB uses commercially reasonable efforts to secure the MCP Server, including authorisation checks, time-limited credentials, rate limits, and safeguards intended to reduce the risk of prompt injection. InspireHUB does not warrant that these measures will prevent every attack, or that content returned through the MCP Server is free of malicious instructions. For background on how Gloo, which owns IHUBApp, approaches security and AI governance across its products, see the Gloo Security Statement. The Gloo Security Statement is provided for informational purposes only and does not extend to IHUBApp any certification, attestation, audit result or other security assurance applicable to another Gloo product or entity. InspireHUB's own security commitments for IHUBApp are set out in Section 3.1(f) of the Terms.
b. Connected Client Incidents. A "Connected Client Incident" is any unauthorised access, action or disclosure resulting from a compromised, malicious, misconfigured or manipulated Connected Client, AI Assistant or AI Provider, or from the theft or misuse of a Connection's credentials outside IHUBApp. A Connected Client Incident is not, of itself, a breach of InspireHUB's security obligations under the Terms or the Data Processing Agreement. Where InspireHUB becomes aware of a suspected Connected Client Incident affecting a Hub, it will notify the Client without undue delay.
c. Records. InspireHUB records each MCP tool call, including the Hub, the user account, the Connected Client and Connection, the tool used, the time, the duration and the outcome, and, for Write Actions, the type and identifier of the item changed and the names of the fields changed. These records do not contain the content of requests or responses. InspireHUB keeps them for up to twelve (12) months and uses them for security, abuse prevention, investigation, audit and support. During the Beta, these records are available to InspireHUB personnel only; a Client may request information about its Hub's records by contacting support@inspirehub.com. To prevent duplicate changes, InspireHUB also keeps the result of each Write Action for up to ten (10) minutes.
d. Client Notification. The Client must notify InspireHUB at support@inspirehub.com promptly, and where practicable within seventy-two (72) hours, after becoming aware of a suspected Connected Client Incident or a compromise of a Connection, and must revoke the affected Connections.
e. Response. InspireHUB may revoke Connections and suspend MCP Access in response to a suspected Connected Client Incident, and will cooperate reasonably with the Client's investigation. Each party remains responsible for any notification to individuals or regulators that applicable law requires of it. Nothing in these terms limits either party's obligations under applicable law.
2.11 Recovery of Deleted Content
Posts and comments deleted through the MCP Server can be restored for thirty (30) days after deletion at the request of a Hub administrator. After that period they are permanently deleted. InspireHUB does not guarantee that other changes, including edits and changes to the Homepage, can be reversed. Clients should keep their own copies of important content.
2.12 Limits, Suspension, Changes and Removal
a. Limits. InspireHUB may set and change rate limits, quotas and other usage limits for MCP Access, which may differ by plan.
b. Suspension. InspireHUB may immediately suspend, restrict or revoke any Connection, credential, Connected Client, Hub's AI assistant access or all MCP Access, without prior notice, where it reasonably believes this is necessary to protect the security, integrity or availability of IHUBApp; to prevent harm, abuse or fraud; to respond to a suspected breach of these terms, the Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy; or to comply with law. InspireHUB will inform the affected Client as soon as reasonably practicable, unless doing so would compromise security or an investigation, or is prohibited by law.
c. Changes to the MCP Server. InspireHUB may add, change, deprecate or remove the MCP Server or any tool, resource or protocol version.
d. Removal of AI Assistant Access. Where InspireHUB removes AI assistant access from a Hub, including under Sections 2.2(c), 2.2(f) or 2.12(b), the removal applies to the whole Hub. Every Member loses the ability to access the Hub through an AI Assistant, and every Connection on the Hub is disconnected completely. Removal ends access through Connected Clients only. It does not affect the Hub itself or any Member's ability to use the Hub directly. Members cannot reconnect until InspireHUB makes AI assistant access available to the Hub again and the Hub Owner enables it. The Client acknowledges that removal may interrupt any work, workflow or automated agent that relies on AI assistant access, and that InspireHUB is not liable for that interruption.
2.13 Fees
AI assistant access is included in qualifying paid plans at no additional charge during the Beta. InspireHUB may introduce fees, usage-based charges or plan-based packaging for AI assistant access in future. Any new or increased fee for a Paid Subscription will be introduced in accordance with Section 2.9 of the Terms, including its notice and wind-down protections.
3.0 General Legal Terms
3.1 Disclaimers; Limitations of Liability
a. Disclaimer.
b. Actions of Connected Clients.
c. InspireHUB's Own Failures. Any other liability of InspireHUB arising from the MCP Server, including a failure of InspireHUB's own authorisation or security controls, is subject to the exclusions and the aggregate cap in Section 2.18(e) of the Terms. MCP Access does not create a separate or additional cap.
d. Trials. For Hubs using AI assistant access under a trial, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, InspireHUB assumes no liability arising from MCP Access during the trial.
e. No Limitation Where Prohibited. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct or fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including the non-excludable rights described in Section 2.18(c) of the Terms.
f. AI Output.
3.2 Indemnification
The Client will defend, indemnify and hold harmless InspireHUB, its Affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any third-party claim, and any resulting losses, damages, fines, penalties, costs and reasonable legal fees, arising from or relating to:
a. MCP Access on the Client's Hubs, including Connections created by its Members;
b. any Write Action or content placed on the Homepage;
c. any Connected Client Incident;
d. the Client's breach of these terms; or
e. the Client's failure to meet its privacy, notice or consent obligations in connection with AI assistant access.
This indemnity does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by InspireHUB's breach of these terms or a failure of InspireHUB's own systems or controls, and is in addition to Section 2.17 of the Terms.
3.3 Specific Terms by Jurisdiction
a. Contracting Entity and Governing Law. The InspireHUB contracting entity, governing law and venue are those set out in Section 3.2 of the Terms for the regional instance on which the Hub is hosted.
b. Australia. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where InspireHUB's liability for failure to comply with a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited, at InspireHUB's option, to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again. From 10 December 2026, a Client that is an APP entity is responsible for any disclosure required by Australian Privacy Principle 1.7 concerning its own use of AI Assistants.
c. United States. Section 2.9(d) is intended, among other things, to prevent MCP Access from being used for consequential decisions within the meaning of applicable state automated decision-making laws, including Colorado SB 26-189 (effective January 1, 2027). Where the Client uses an AI Assistant in breach of Section 2.9(d), the Client is solely responsible for compliance with those laws.
d. Canada. Nothing in these terms limits any obligation of the Client, as data controller, under PIPEDA or applicable provincial privacy law, including obligations of meaningful consent and openness.
3.4 Precedence, Amendment and Survival
a. Precedence. In any conflict concerning MCP Access, these terms prevail over the Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy, except that nothing here reduces InspireHUB's obligations under the Data Processing Agreement in respect of data held within IHUBApp.
b. Amendment. InspireHUB may amend these terms in accordance with Section 3.3(a) of the Terms. Material amendments take effect thirty (30) days after InspireHUB gives notice to the Hub Owner by email or by prominent notice in IHUBApp or, if earlier, when the Hub Owner accepts the amended terms. InspireHUB may require the amended terms to be accepted before AI assistant access can continue. If the Client does not agree to an amendment, it may disable AI assistant access.
c. Survival. Sections 2.6, 2.7, 2.8, 2.9(b), 2.9(c), 2.10(d), 2.10(e), 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3 survive the end of AI assistant access, the end of any Connection and the termination of the Terms.
