We're launching AI assistant access for IHUBApp in Beta for select paying customers. Members of a Hubsite can connect an AI assistant, starting with Claude by Anthropic, to read and work with the Hubsite on their behalf, using only the permissions they already have.
Want to join the Beta?
- For now, Beta access is by request. If you're on a paid plan and would like to take part, email support@inspirehub.com and our team will enable it for your Hubsite.
- Once Beta access is enabled for your Hubsite, the Hubsite owner can turn it on under Hub > Configuration > Third-Party App Access.
- We plan to make AI assistant access available to all paid customers in the future.
- AI assistant access is off by default and only turns on when you enable it.
As we launch the Beta, we've published new terms and updated our legal suite.
New: IHUBApp AI Assistant (MCP) Terms
These terms explain how AI assistant access works, what Hubsite owners are responsible for, how information flows to AI providers, and the protections we've built in. Read the AI Assistant (MCP) Terms
What we've updated
- Terms of Service: AI assistant access becomes part of your agreement when you enable it, and authorized AI assistant access isn't treated as prohibited automated access. We've also clarified that regional hosting applies to data held within IHUBApp. Effective November 2, 2026.
- Acceptable Use Policy: our rules on API misuse now also cover AI assistants. Effective November 2, 2026.
- IHUBApp Privacy Notice: describes the records we keep when AI assistant access is used. Effective October 31, 2026.
- End-User License Agreement: a new Section 3A explains to members how AI assistants work in a Hubsite. Effective November 30, 2026.
- Data Processing Agreement: confirms that AI providers chosen by members are not InspireHUB sub-processors, and describes AI assistant access records. Version 1.3, effective November 30, 2026.
If you don't use AI assistant access, nothing changes for your Hubsite.
Our commitment
InspireHUB doesn't use the content in your Hubsite to train AI models without your separate consent.
Before you enable it
Tell your members that AI assistants can read content they have access to, including private channels, and review where sensitive information may be shared. The AI Assistant (MCP) Terms walk you through what to consider.
