InspireHUB’s IHUBApp Digital Experience Platform Launches IRON WILL Network to Help Military, First Responders and Healthcare Workers | Mental Health

Dallas TX,  April 23, 2020 - InspireHUB, the creator of the award-winning IHUBApp digital experience platform (DXP), is proud to announce that it is powering the WagTree IRON WILL Network℠, a national network of people, companies, and organizations pledging to support those who serve and protect.  Specifically, the online network will seek to provide a safe and secure place where members of the military, first responders and frontline healthcare workers (and their families) can come to receive support around those who are struggling with suicidal thoughts.

Research has shown that first responders are more likely to die by suicide than in the line of duty as a result of the constant exposure to death and destruction.  Suicide rates have been found to be as much as five times higher than the rates within civilian populations. Now, with the current pandemic adding further stress, there is a desperate need to provide a tool that makes it easier to find the right resources quickly amidst the growing flood of news and information.  The Network’s HUB will serve as a conduit, ensuring those in service and their families get the right help at the right time.

“We wanted to bring together people and organizations that had similar interests in helping our military, first responders, and healthcare workers," said Judy Diethelm, co-founder, and partner at WagTree. “The IHUBApp allowed us to quickly build a secure and private online community that gives our partners the ability to share their resources to help those in need. For our heroes, it gives them the ability to download it as an app, which means they can carry that resource in their pocket and access it any time.”

“This project is a deeply personal one for me because my husband is a firefighter,” explains InspireHUB President and Founder, Karolyn Hart.”  It’s hard to put into words the way I feel, knowing that my company’s technology will be directly helping the people I love most in the world. Yes, we’ve lost loved ones in our circles, and I can’t help wondering if the outcome would have been different if something like this had previously existed.”
