We're pulling back the curtain to give you a peek at the magic behind the scenes. Who knew the technical orchestration of bringing a piece of software to life could be so beautiful? This video chronicles the adventure we embarked upon in 2014, unfolding the work of our development team right through to February 2019.
Here's a glimpse at the birth of InspireHUB's award-winning IHUBApp, the Progressive Web App that makes communicating, collaborating and engaging simple!

Last October, our Founder, Karolyn Hart, was invited to talk to the 200 developers that came together at the Samsung Create! conference. When InspireHUB was founded in 2013, it was immediately retained by the Mandela family to help use technology to fight the pediatric healthcare crisis in South Africa. We eventually morphed to help corporations with their communications. In this talk, Karolyn shares the story of how Progressive Web App technology came to the rescue for InspireHUB clients, what the team learned about using bleeding edge technology and how a small, unknown, scrappy group of devs ended up being the first to do a whole lot of cool stuff.
Grab a mug of something hot and lean in for 20 minutes of fun and inspiring storytelling about what it's like to be a rogue band of developers at the beginning of a technology the world had yet to adopt, from an "Aha! moment" in the back of a cab in Nairobi as our first customer helped inform future design, to the teachable moments that helped pave the way for some of consumer technology's most valuable shifts today.

Each year, we publish a white paper to help businesses and their tech leaders make sense of the ever-changing landscape when it comes to communications, collaboration, productivity and engagement. When we shared our first one in 2014, mobile was still the focus, with cell phones being the one device 96% of people had access to at all times.
While that's still true, the way people -- including customers, employees and suppliers -- are using them is changing. One of the biggest shifts? The days of downloading "native apps" from app stores and the endless cycle and expense of having to maintain them across multiple platforms are over, as the "Progressive Web App" technology makes an any-device, anywhere, anytime approach mainstream.
Confused? We've got you! Our new white paper, “The 2019 Future of Apps: Progressive Web Apps Grow and Mature” includes insights on app trends and industry predictions from tech leaders on the current mobile market as the world of “native apps” and “progressive web apps” merge. Here's a taste ...

This is where our job gets really exciting! Take a look at how the Global Post-Traumatic Stress Injury Foundation (Global) is putting the IHUBApp powered by InspireHUB Technologies to work to support its mission assisting people suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Injuries (PTSI).
Developing and implementing custom mobile apps was often beyond the scope of many local government budgets before Progressive Web App (PWA) technology came along. The cost for native app development, hosting, maintenance, and feature upgrades is high, and takes considerable time, making it an unsustainable option. Progressive Web App technology can engage the community at both a fraction of the cost of native apps, and much more quickly. PWA's are shaking up the ways cities connect with their community, distribute information effectively, connect constituents to one another, and enhance community morale in an economically feasible way. Here’s how...
As smartphones have become increasingly faster and more adept in their processing capabilities, mobile apps have followed suit, offering more user-friendly ways of accessing information, communicating with others, and increasing productivity. By the end of 2017, research indicates that nearly half of the world throughout 80 countries will own smartphones.
As these numbers continue to grow, so do opportunities for municipalities to engage with their communities. Municipal leaders looking to expand their reach and increase civic engagement can connect with users through any web-enabled device with mobile apps. Municipal apps, like the IHUBApp powered by InspireHUB Technologies, help cities thrive by providing the tools needed to improve both internal communications and productivity, while offering residents instant access to municipal data, services and leaders.
