We're pulling back the curtain to give you a peek at the magic behind the scenes. Who knew the technical orchestration of bringing a piece of software to life could be so beautiful? This video chronicles the adventure we embarked upon in 2014, unfolding the work of our development team right through to February 2019.
Here's a glimpse at the birth of InspireHUB's award-winning IHUBApp, the Progressive Web App that makes communicating, collaborating and engaging simple!

Last October, our Founder, Karolyn Hart, was invited to talk to the 200 developers that came together at the Samsung Create! conference. When InspireHUB was founded in 2013, it was immediately retained by the Mandela family to help use technology to fight the pediatric healthcare crisis in South Africa. We eventually morphed to help corporations with their communications. In this talk, Karolyn shares the story of how Progressive Web App technology came to the rescue for InspireHUB clients, what the team learned about using bleeding edge technology and how a small, unknown, scrappy group of devs ended up being the first to do a whole lot of cool stuff.
Grab a mug of something hot and lean in for 20 minutes of fun and inspiring storytelling about what it's like to be a rogue band of developers at the beginning of a technology the world had yet to adopt, from an "Aha! moment" in the back of a cab in Nairobi as our first customer helped inform future design, to the teachable moments that helped pave the way for some of consumer technology's most valuable shifts today.

Progressive Web Apps (PWA's) have had a banner year. For a relatively new arrival, users have been enjoying record speed successes with PWA's like the IHUPApp powered by InspireHUB Technologies. The Hidden Power of Inclusion? Reach!
W3C Accessibility Compliance. If you know this phrase you likely serve the public in some capacity and are aware of the need for your online presence to be accessible for those who are hearing and visually impaired. At InspireHUB Technologies, we believe that accessible technology is a human right. We are happy to report that some governments have passed legislation as they work to make this a reality. There's no doubt that ensuring your online presence can be accessed by everyone is just the right thing to do. It also ends up that adopting technologies that assist everyone can do more than just make you feel good; it can have direct benefits to your bottom line.

Online communications have revolutionized how information is discovered, consumed and shared. Ratepayers expect information to arrive on their virtual doorstep. They don’t want to have to go chasing after it. This common perception makes online municipal communication strategies very important. It is imperative that local governments learn how to navigate this landscape, before they venture into the newest opportunity to engage their constituents.

Most of the world’s large corporations have already made the transition to mobile, but many organizations and small-to-medium size businesses are still waiting and weighing their options. Some of them are hesitant to invest in a mobile strategy because developing mobile technology can be expensive. Others simply aren’t sure what a mobile strategy looks like or why it’s important. If you’re one of these business owners or organization heads that are still on the fence, here are five solid reasons why you should jump on the mobile wagon today.
What was the first thing you did this morning when you woke up? If you are like 80% of smartphone users you likely checked your phone before you even brushed your teeth (IDC Research). Over the last several years mobile has aggressively grown. As of January 2014, 90% of American adults own a cell phone (Pew Research, 2014). This might explain why a 2014 Forbes article was entitled Mobile is the Future of Everything.
Technology is ever changing. It has developed to the point where mobile apps are used in almost every aspect of our daily lives. Want to know what the weather is like in Sydney, Australia? Need to make a dinner reservation for the weekend? Regardless of your need, there’s likely an app that satisfies it. Plus, mobile technology has allowed us to be more social than ever, regardless of how physically far away we are from each other.
